Early detection and monitoring

During these appointments we will carry out the following examinations:

• 24-hour blood pressure monitoring

  • –Evaluation of your blood sugar diary
  • –Individual adjustment of your insulin dose if necessary

• Examination of your feet

  • –If applicable, do not wear support stockings

• Exercise testing

  • –Ergometry

• 24-hour ECG monitoring

• Ultrasound examination

  • –Sonography of the kidneys
  • –Sonography of other organs if necessary

• Colour duplex scan of your blood vessels

  • –Carotid artery
  • –Abdominal aorta
  • –Leg vessels
  • –Renal vessels

We will also discuss with you whether taking part in one of our courses would be useful for you.
